Learning how to create macro images wasn't as easy as I had originally assumed it would be. I remember the excitement of it all, of finding items on hand and testing the lighting and position to get it just right. To capture the delicate detail in each macro shot is to learn to step back and see the bigger picture through those tiny features. It is all about changing your perspective and making sure it comes through in the image you are creating.
Here are some of our favorites from two years ago.
Natalie believes that donuts and wine are the cure to everything, second to a healthy dose of laughter and binge-watching. She has a love for all animals (except bugs) and can and will talk to anyone. Stranger, danger? Nahhhh!
Natalie enjoys squeeing over the babies and children she photographs and adores capturing the romance in couples.
